Island ZADAR - VIR is a 6-hour drive from Budapest on the M7 highway. Located 25 km from the city of Zara, it is connected to the mainland by a bridge of 390 m length and has a single city called Vir. The red rocks on the north side of the island and the fortress are a wonderful phenomenon that attracts the attention of tourists.

According to statistics from the Tourism Society in Vir, the record of the past was broken in 2017, the flow of tourists increased by 13%, and 910,000 nights were spent by tourists on the island. According to forecasts in 2018, this figure will exceed one million, and with this, the city of Vir will enter the first 20 places in Croatia.
